Website redesign that keeps the rankings you earned
A redesign is a good moment to fix speed, structure and messaging. It is also the easiest way to lose years of search traffic if nobody plans the move.

What website redesign includes.
Audit and URL map
A crawl of your current site, a list of pages that earn traffic or links, and where each one will live.
301 redirects
Every retired URL pointed to its closest new page, tested before and after the switch.
Speed rebuild
Lean templates, compressed images and fewer scripts so pages load quickly on a mid range phone.
Written scope
A clear list of what is being redesigned, rewritten and rebuilt, agreed before work starts.

How we approach it
We keep what works. If a page ranks well and converts, we improve its design and speed but leave its URL and core content alone.
| /services.php | 301 | /services/ |
| /about-us.html | 301 | /about/ |
| /blog/?p=214 | 301 | /guides/choosing-a-host/ |
| /products/old-range | 301 | /products/ |

Questions about website redesign
Will a redesign hurt my Google rankings?
It can if URLs change without redirects or content is removed. With a URL map, redirects and post launch checks, most sites hold their positions and often improve thanks to better speed and structure.
Can you keep my current CMS?
Sometimes. If your CMS is in good shape we can redesign the front end only. If it is the source of the problems, we will say so and explain the alternatives.
Do you rewrite the content as well?
We can. We usually tighten existing copy rather than start from nothing, especially on pages that already rank.

A new website, a redesign, a web app, a mobile app or a store. Send a few lines about it and we will reply by email with questions and next steps.
